This rich and delicious tradition began in 1905 when Lombardi’s was licensed by the City of New York to become America’s first pizzeria, and the old gal’s still got it.. The shop that started it all is still revered as one of the greatest spots to try and authentic NYC pizza slice. It’s like returning to a better time.
