The very definition of fast food, these traditional Neapolitan pizzas are cooked in a 900-degee (!!) brick oven in a mere 90 seconds. But while the cooking process is quick, a tonne of work has gone into making these pizzas as authentic as possible. It’s why Dante’s is the first pizzeria in New Zealand to receive membership into the culinary institute Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, which has a brutal certification process and insanely strict standards. This is as real as it gets in the antipodes.
