Melbourne’s New Pop-Up Dessert Museum Is A Sweet Tooth’s Dream
Do you have an insatiable sweet tooth that no matter how hard you try, just can’t be subdued? No biggie! Sugar Republic, Melbourne’s brand new pop-up dessert museum is just the ticket for a sure-fire fix.
Reminiscent of the USA’s incredibly successful Museum of Ice Cream, Sugar Republic has absolutely everything a sugar addict could want.

There’s a giant gumball machine you can climb inside, a pink adult-sized ball pit, a mini-cinema dedicated to only the sweetest films, an igloo made entirely from donuts, a fairy floss room with its own swing, a giant birthday cake to jump out of, an interactive sprinkles wall and seriously a lot more.
Best of all, there’s more ice cream, lollies and snacks than you can poke a lollypop stick at, all included in the price of your ticket. Just don’t go too hard and throw up.
The pop-up features 14 art-filled spaces designed to fully immerse visitors in all things chocolatey, sugary and sweet.
The pop up will run until Friday, August 17 and tickets are $35 and can be bought via the museum’s website. And stay tuned, a Sydney location is in the works.
