Still waiting on that letter from Hogwarts? Don’t sweat because, as it turns out, there’s still time to test your wizardry abilities and prove you’re more than just a muggle. The Brightside, Brisbane is hosting a very special event, Welcome to Hogwarts – A Magical Evening of Mischief.

To mark the milestone, buy a ticket and head to The Brightside on Friday, August 3 for a night of magic, wonder and adventure. It’s your only chance to hop aboard the Hogwarts Express, for one night only.
Upon arrival you will be given a Marauder’s Map with all the info you’ll need to have the most magical night. There will be three incredible themed spaces to explore: The Great Hall, The Forbidden Forest and an enormous Quidditch pitch with live matches.
There’s plenty more to get your hands on too, practise defence against the dark arts, have your fortune read in the Forbidden Forest, try your hand at wizard chess and get the perfect happy snap at the photo booth.
There will be prizes for best dressed, so be sure to pack your house robes. Plus, you’ll get to find out once and for all which house you belong to, courtesy of the Sorting Hat.
Oh and, of course, the potion masters behind the bar will be brewing only the finest batches of butter beer for your partying pleasure.
