Smash Hit Musical ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ Is Coming To Australia This Year
Yet another major musical is finally making its way Down Under, with the hugely successful West End hit Everybody’s Talking About Jamie set to grace the stages of Australia starting July this year.

Sydney will first welcome the musical, with the Sydney Opera House playing home to the show, before the cast and crew set out on an extensive tour around Australia.
[related_articles]81618,75265[/related_articles]Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is based on the true story of Jamie Campbell, who had a hard time in high school and was teased for his sexuality, but dreamed of going to prom in drag. His story was first told in the documentary Jamie – Drag Queen at Sixteen, and then adapted into the popular musical. The show tells the story of Jamie overcoming obstacles and bullies to become his true self – all to a banging soundtrack.

From there it will spend September 2020 to February 2021 on the road, starting with Western Sydney from September 4 at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre West HQ; Wyong from September 28 at the Art House; Melbourne from October 9 at Arts Centre; Brisbane from November 13 at QPAC; Canberra from December 11 at Canberra Theatre Centre; Perth from January 22 at His Majesty’s Theatre; finishing in Adelaide from February 5 at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
