You Can Help Save This Species Of Rhino Just By Swiping Right

Forget Matty J, the world’s most eligible bachelor is a northern white Rhino called Sudan. And he’s relying on you to swipe right to save his species. No pressure.

After being hunted into near extinction, there are only two female and one male Northern White Rhinos left in the world. After previous attempts to get the last remaining females to mate with Sudan failed, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya is hoping to attempt in-vitro fertilisation (IVF). But IVF doesn’t come cheap, especially if you’re a big, grey, leathery, near-extinct north African mammal.

To raise the funds, Ol Pejeta have partnered up with a much more modern match-making platform: Tinder. Tinder users will find Sudan pop up on their feed with an extremely excellent bio, referencing his height (“6ft”) and weight (“5,000lbs”) in case you were wondering.

Users who swipe right to Sudan’s profile will be provided a link to a donation page, where they can contribute to the fundraising of his IVF treatment. It’ll be the best Tinder success story you’ve ever heard!
