The “Dream Job” trend of 2019 came out swinging and it’s showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, because a fair trade chocolate company has put out the call for a captain and two co-pilots to drive a chocolate truck across the United States of America.
[related_articles]68193,66145,64880[/related_articles]Tony’s Chocolonely is looking for sweet-tooths to tour through ten cities in their Chocotruck later this year. The team will be delivering sugary goodness at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas before rolling on to Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Eugene, Portland, Seattle and Chicago.
Interested? The captain will be responsible for driving the blessed truck as well as managing the co-pilots, tour logistics, activations and daily social media posts. Every captain needs a good co-pilot, and the two for this job will assist with driving and activation set-up. They’ll also make sure customers walk away loaded with chocolate and a smile on their face.
[related_articles]68663,68193[/related_articles]You’ll need three years of experience in road tour and event production to nab these jobs. The salaries are described as “competitive” and chocolate is included as a perk, so if you’re authorised to work in the US then honestly what are you waiting for?

The chocolate truck will bring delicious confectionary cheer to the country, but its primary aim is to raise awareness about inequality in the cocoa industry. The team will educate visitors on slavery and illegal child labour being used on some cocoa farms to fulfil Tony Chocolonely’s vision of making the industry 100% slave-free.
[related_articles]10564,62759,68663[/related_articles]Applications for the captain and co-pilot positions are open now until February 12, with the tour kicking off in March. Just another reminder: chocolate is included in the job, so apply now.
