We stan all things Golden Gaytime – from the iconic ice cream itself to craft beer and indulgent shakes. Now there’s a new contender for Sydney’s most decadent Golden Gaytime dessert at XS Espresso in Bondi.
The dessert bar specialises in all things extravagant and serves up some of our favourite foods on this green earth, like stacked pancakes, waffles, dessert pizzas, churros and loaded shakes.

It’s open now for all of your cheat day needs.
The name of the game is well-deserved over-indulgence. Try the Fluffy Nutter Double Waffles sandwich filled with marshmallows and topped with Maltesers, Oreos and Tim Tams.
The Dulce De Leche Pancake stack is smothered in caramel, pretzels, banana, vanilla crumble and ice cream. They also have all the usual brunch dishes like smashed avo and açai bowls, because life is all about balance and brunch.
But the real stars of the show are the signature loaded shakes. They’ve got a caramel chocolate shake topped with a cronut full of Kit Kats, M&M’s, Wafer Sticks, Maltesers and Caramello Koalas. There are some topped with fairy floss and waffles and warn chocolate soufflé.

Look, we’re not saying you have to order this, but we’re going to strongly suggest that you, your brunch date, your mum and all of your friends do.
