A Sydney Cafe Is Serving Up Caramilk Choc Tops And We’ll Take 20

Kassia is the Editor of AWOL, and a straight-up travel…
I’m one of those weird people who was never very big on ice cream, there were a thousand other sweet treats I’d pick first. However, for reasons I can’t explain, that all changes if the ice cream is a choc top. Not just any choc top either — the freshly made, Mr Whippy kind.
Add to that the fact that Caramilk chocolate has always been my favourite chocolate and that it being brought back was the best thing to happen in my entire adult life, and you’ll understand why I’m basically writing this article about Sydney cafe Cheat Day and their Caramilk Choc Tops for myself.
Let’s all just sit and watch this heavenly video for a second, shall we?
The Peakhurst joint claimed in an Instagram post that one of their owners “bought every block of Caramilk along the river” (so THAT’S where they all went), so now it seems they’re making good use of them.
They do also note that you should slide into their DMs to check for availability before popping in, to avoid disappointment, so it seems these bad bois are selling like hot cakes. taste also reported the Caramilk choc tops would only last as long as stocks did, so that’s the final reason I needed to pop by this weekend.
Side note, Cheat Day have also posted on Instagram asking whether they should start making Caramilk mochas and hot chocolates, to which I say PLEASE GOD YES.
If you’re in need of even more of a Caramilk fix (and who could blame you) then I’m pleased to inform you that a Caramilk Banana Cake recipe exists right here.
