This Hotel Offers Hot Tub Boat Tours
If this isn’t modern engineering at its finest, then I don’t know what is.
The Runnymede-on-Thames is a modest four-star hotel in Surrey, England. Sitting on the banks of the River Thames, it’s perfectly reasonable that this hotel has decided to run boat tours across the famed English river. But lookie here, they’ve added a hot tub boat to make things a little more interesting.
The hot tub boat, which they affectionately call a “HotTug”, is just as fun as it sounds. You can enjoy the picturesque sites from your boat, all with the added benefit of soaking it up in a wood-fired hot tub. The Runnymede-on-Thames’ HoTug is actually the only one of its kind in the UK.
Guests can hire the HotTug from an hour up to a complete day, with the adventure coming complete with a picnic, a captain and whatever else takes your fancy. Cheese platter? Champagne? You got it.
For obvious weather reasons, the HoTug is only available to hire from mid-April until mid-September. All aboard!
