New York, LA And Washington, DC, Are Getting ‘Star Wars’-Themed Pop-Up Bars
This week, three Star Wars-inspired bars are popping up across the US and, boy, crossing over to the dark side never looked (or tasted) so darn good.
Following the success of his 2016 pop-up celebrating all things Anchorman, Zach Neil is back with The Darkside Bar. The Star Wars-themed bar promises a truly immersive intergalactic experience in New York City, Washington, DC, and Hollywood for a very limited time.
Each bar hosts nightly attractions, including an intergalactic burlesque show featuring performers from across the cosmos, themed dance and DJ nights, trivia and even alien speed dating.
Patrons are encouraged to come dressed in their best galactic get-up, but aren’t required to do so. Reservations, however, are recommended if you want to snag a seat.
[related_articles]53080,51309,48897[/related_articles]Visitors can expect a mix of custom-made cocktails, including The Imperial, which is made from a blend of spices and rum, maple extract, citrus juice and cayenne.
Or why not try The Galaxy? It’s made with black vodka, exotic fruit extracts, spirited essence and some secret liquors.
In terms of eats, the space-inspired menu varies day-to-day, but you can expect to see tentacles on sticks, bantha fodder and other interesting bites.
