Your Favourite Fancy Chocolate Shop Just Released A Choccie-Flavoured Beer

I love gorging myself on delicious chocolate, I also love sipping on a good beer — I mean honestly, who doesn’t? So the fact fancy Aussie chocolatiers Koko Black have just released a combination of those two things is pretty huge news.

Teaming up with homegrown brewer Modus Operandi (a much-loved Aussie brewery hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches), get around your new fave beer — the Koko Black x MODUS Choc Hazelnut Belgian Stout.

The brewers used Koko black’s ‘Nuts to Caramel Collection’ as their flavour inspiration, creating a limited edition beer with flavours of hazelnut and Belgian chocolate.

If you’re in Melbourne, you can get your hands on the chocolate beer at the MODUS Good Beer Week Hub and the Good Heavens Rooftop, or in independent bottle shops across Victoria as a four-pack for $35.00.

For the rest of us, Koko Black will be selling a limited-edition luxe gift box Australia-wide. For $99.00 you’ll get Koko Black’s Nuts to Caramel Collection, Roasted Toasted Hazelnuts, Hazelnut Gianduja Bombs and four 375ml Koko Black x MODUS Choc Hazelnut Belgian Stouts. You can pop over and order yourself one right here (because why not?).

If you need a bit more of a beer fix (no judgement here), then you should check out Collingwood’s new Craft Beer Trail. Or maybe pop over to Wellington for a long weekend and enjoy their booming brewery scene. Who Says you can’t buy yourself some Koko Black chocolate for the road?
