Looking for a weekend plan to get the crew together? Few things could be more crowd pleasing on a Sydney summer day than bottomless tacos and margaritas.
Potts Point’s new Mexican spot Sonora has come through with the goods.
The neighbourhood newcomer has announced all-you-can-eat tacos and bottomless drinks (including those margs) every Saturday and Sunday from 12-5pm.
Sonora’s choice of unlimited tacos includes carne asada, roasted cauliflower, grilled barramundi and borrego (grass-fed lamb). They’re all nestled in tortillas made fresh in-house. A variety of self-serve salsas and condiments will also hit your table.
As for drinks, you can choose between free-flowing margaritas, Tecate beer and house rosé.
The restaurant opened in late 2019 with Mexican-born chef Juan Carlos in charge. It’s the first Potts Point venture from the taco pros behind Bondi’s Taqiza and Carbon.
Sonora’s feast costs $79 per person for a two-hour session. A tidy way to launch into your day off, then.
