Gringotts Bank Is The Next Expansion At London’s Harry Potter Studio Tour
Get your golden Galleons ready, because the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter experience is set to open its biggest expansion to date. On April 6, visitors will be able to step inside Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

The Gringotts tour will be the biggest area in the Warner Bros. attraction, coming in at just under 1500 square metres of intricately designed and decorated sets. Visitors will be able to explore the bank’s grand hall, lined by towering marble pillars and crystal chandeliers, and decorated with inkwells, quills, ledgers and coins designed by award-winning prop-makers and designers.

While on the Gringotts tour, beyond the grand hall, muggles and wizards alike will enter the Lestrange Vault and can snap a photo surrounded by treasures and gold. In the films, the vault stored the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup – we don’t know exactly what treasures will be kept safe in this version, but they’re sure to make for some magical photos.
Props and costumes worn by the goblin tellers in the films will also be on display. The prosthetic masks they wore took weeks to create – every strand of hair was individually inserted and veins were painted on by hand.

It’s no wonder that Warner Bros. Studio Tour suggests visitors set aside three and a half hours to experience everything in in the Studio Tour.
Tickets are available now, starting at £43 (AU$77) for adults, and must be purchased in advance for all tours.
