VB And Volley Have Collabed On a Beer-Themed Sneaker, So That’s Your Shoey Vessel Sorted

Two fair dinkum Aussie brands have come together to create a shoe perfect for a sesh sinking cold ones. VB and Volley present to you their limited edition sneaker, the Ultimate Shoey (otherwise known as the Reliable Traveller).

This special edition sneaker is surprisingly cute, as is all the on point merch VB comes out with. The high top Volley is emblazoned with the VB logo and, of course, the slogan ‘For a Hard Earned Thirst’ – and you can buy it from 7am on Wednesday, December 2.

In classic Aussie style, the idea for the sneakers started as an April Fool’s joke on social media when Volley announced the ‘Ultimate Shoey’. After the hoax went viral, VB and Volley were blown away with the response and wanted to bring the sneakers to life.

VB and Volley wanted to design a shoe that hard-working Aussies could easily slip on once the work boots come off. Based on Volley’s Heritage High silhouette – an updated iteration of the 1982 Volley High Leap – the Volley x VB sneaks feature a durable ribbed canvas upper, custom metal eyelets, and original Volley injected rubber sole, with rounded rubber top cap.

These bad boys are trimmed with the classic VB green colour, along with the logo, slogan and the signature of VB’s founder Thomas Aitken along the side.

Honestly, living for the image of the nice dress with white sneaker trend, featuring VB. Truly Australian.

The sneakers are $84.99, but VB and Volley didn’t just stop there. You can also get your shoes in a limited edition insulated cooler box (which fits 12 cans of VB, incase you were wondering), for $94.99. There’s even VB socks for $14.99, so that’s Dad sorted for Christmas.

The VB x Volley Reliable Traveller Heritage High trainers are exclusively available from Victoria Bitter and Volley, from next Wednesday, December 2 at 7am.
