Ikea Is Dropping Its Own Official Streetwear Line To Match Those Iconic Bucket Hats

Ok, stop everything, because Ikea has taken that one-off bucket hat a step further by dropping a whole streetwear line and I want one of everything even though I can’t pull off streetwear.

The Ikea and fashion crossover isn’t completely new, with high-end fashion brands like Balenciaga long paying homage to the homeware giant on the catwalk, as well as fake Ikea logos often being found on streetwear worldwide.

So then it’s only fair Ikea get in on the action themselves.

“We’ve seen great excitement and demand for products like the KNORVA bucket hat, so we’re very excited to be able to offer a complete and full apparel and accessories line for Australians,” said Ikea Australia Business Leader, Maria Langford, in a statement.

Having already made its debut in Japan back in 2020, the first-ever Ikea merchandise collection called EFTERTRÄDA is finally hitting Australia next week on May 13. We’re only the fifth country to be graced by its presence so it’s very much still a highly exclusive collection.

With simple, classic and everyday looks you’d expect from Ikea, the collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, towels, tote bags and key rings all sporting the official IKEA logo as the main design. Personally, I’m also loving the simple barcode designs.

What about prices, I hear you exclaim? Well, here’s a full price list with you, and as you’d expect it’s all very affordable”

  • tote bag $10
  • towel in white or yellow $22.50
  • hoodie in S/M or L/XL $49
  • t-shirt in S/M or L/XL $19
  • key ring blue or heart $4
  • water bottle in white or yellow $6

From the thirteenth, you’ll be able to peruse and purchase the collection right here.
