Do you think you’d be able to stay in luxury homes in various exciting cities around the world and make a cool $10,000USD (approx $13,200AUD) a month while doing so? We’re guessing the answer is yes. And we’ve got the job for you.
Thirdhome is a travel accommodation sharing website available for people with second homes. To be a member of Thirdhome, you have to have at least one other home in a “desirable location” with “quality furnishings, appointments and amenities” that you can put up for others to stay in. Members can choose from hundreds of ritzy homes around the world, including chateaus, mansions, yachts and villas, that they would like to house swap with. It’s kind of like Airbnb for the ridiculously wealthy.
The extremely good news for us is that the people at Thirdhome are now hiring someone to stay in a bunch of these international homes for an actual job. All you have to do is record your stay in the 12 different homes for an all-expenses-paid three month trip. You’ll also receive $10,000USD (approximately $13,200AUD) per month for your efforts.
Anybody from around the world can apply but there are a few requirements. Firstly, you must be over the age of 18, have a passport and be able to travel consecutively for three months. The other requirements include experience with international travel and an ability to “understand and appreciate luxury”. An ability to understand and appreciate luxury is probably something you never thought you’d be able to list on your resume, is it?
The successful applicant will be documenting the time they spend in the luxurious homes, so “excellent writing skills” and an ability to create engaging vlog posts are a must.
If you think that you could handle three luxurious months of travel, you can apply for the role by recording a one minute application video here.
