Anyone who thinks they’ve already drunk at the best bars in Sydney will have a new nightlife destination come November. The city is getting a secret, underground speakeasy for partiers to revel in — but it’s only open for one night each month.
The Blind Barber is a 1920s-themed speakeasy that will throw one massive party each month, somewhere in Sydney’s dark underground.
[related_articles]73192,71750,70518[/related_articles]Inspired by the secret bars that popped up during prohibition, the Blind Barber will have the finest hooch, gambling tables and shady crooks lurking in dark corners (played by actors, don’t worry Mum). It’s by the party planners at Beyond Cinema, the team who recreated the Titanic on Sydney Harbour for an interactive theatre experience, and brought the lush Great Gatsby party to the city’s finest mansion.
Like all Beyond Cinema events, dress-ups are essential. Pull out your sharpest suits, flashiest flapper dresses and largest feathers — if you can bust a Charleston in it, you’re set!

Which will go on sale soon, and you can make sure you’re among the first to score some if you sign up for pre-release information on the Blind Barber website.
