Huge news chocolate fans! Everyone’s favourite Easter treat is finally getting the royal treatment – yep, an entire cafe devoted to Cadbury Creme Eggs is opening in London. It’s all creme egg dishes. No joke.
The cafe is set to open in London’s SOHO district from January 22 through ’til March 6. The pop-up will celebrate this delicious chocolate morsel on three (three!) floors of the restaurant, all with their very own twist on the traditional creme egg.
The first floor will just serve Cadbury Creme Egg Toasties (like a Nutella toastie on steroids) and other takeaway treats. One floor up will be the restaurant, where diners can choose from four menu options – (creme) eggs and soldiers, a strawberry and creme egg or a Creme Egg tray bake, as well as the aforementioned Creme Egg toasted sandwich.
The third and final floor is the cafe’s pièce de résistance – there will be a grown-up ball pit filled with Cadbury Creme Eggs ready and waiting for you to swan dive into its chocolate abyss. Okay, so there’s no word yet on what this “ball-pit” will look like (or if you’ll actually be able to dive into it) but we can dream, right?
The cafe will be open for seven weeks from January 22 to March 6 on Fridays 5pm ’til 9pm, and weekends 2pm ’til 6pm. Hop to it.
