If you’ve ever been at a cafe and thought, “Needs more dog”, then oh boy, do we have a treat for you: the United Kingdom is getting a string of dog cafes, so you can finally drink your latte in proper company. The pop-up (pup-up?) dog cafes will be brought to you by Pug Cafe (more on them later).
I don’t hesitate when I say: These doggy-themed cafes will be a dining experience of your wildest dreams. Pomeranians, pugs, dachshunds and Frenchies are all being honoured at a pop-up cafe travelling around London and Manchester.

If you don’t have a doggo, no worries! You can still come along to make some new pupper friends and enjoy plenty of cuddles.
There’ll be free puppacinos for all of the four-legged attendees, as well as an extensive menu dedicated to dogs including pupcakes, dognuts, pompops, pupcorn, pawsecco and more. Humans can enjoy tasty snacks, cocktails and, of course, coffee.
The Pug Cafe team is also behind the UK’s wildly successful Pug Cafe pop-ups – no prizes for guessing what these involve. This temporary departure from pugs is helping to celebrate the cinematic release of The Secret Life of Pets 2. As someone who didn’t watch the first movie, I can now wholeheartedly say that I stan this franchise.

There’ll be four 70-minute sessions running throughout the day for each breed of dog. If you’re lucky enough to be in either city on the day, you’ll be able to book tickets on the Pug Cafe website.
You can also sign up to the Pug Cafe newsletter to be made instantly aware of all their future pup cafe events.
