Prepare Your Arteries, Krispy Kreme And Oreo Just Teamed Up

This is not a drill. From tomorrow, two of your favourite cheat treats have combined their sugary powers into one even better dessert. Well, one dessert in three flavours.

Yes, Krispy Kreme and Oreo have teamed up to give you the Oreo Original, Oreo Chocolate and Oreo Strawberry donuts. Each of them is pumped full of a cream filling and topped with Oreo cookie pieces. Yes, please and thank you.

The Oreo Original flavour apparently even has bits of Oreo throughout the filling. There’s no such thing as too much Oreo, that’s what I always say. This particular flavour plays on the ever popular tastes of vanilla, chocolate cookies and crème.

According to Krispy Kreme’s Food Technologist, Tasha Kaur, this is actually the second most popular Krispy Kreme flavour combo, behind the OG glazed.

“We wanted to make everyone’s favourite flavour combo bigger and better, and with Oreo we were able to play around with the additions of chocolate and strawberry,” she said.

“The doughnuts are light and fluffy, filled with a light as air cream, and then covered in the Oreo cookie pieces that gives it extra indulgence, setting it apart from any other doughnuts in the Krispy Kreme range. We all know and love Oreo cookies, which is why we are so excited to give Aussies the chance to try them out in a new and unique way”.

First of all, what an amazing job — I would not say no to an endless supply of donuts. Secondly, yum. That is all.

The new Oreo range is only available for a limited time, and you can grab them from at select Krispy Kreme stores in store, online, via Click and Collect and through some food delivery apps, from Saturday September 19.

Otherwise, just the Oreo Original flavour will be stocked in 7-Eleven Australia stores. So basically you’ll be able to find them pretty easily.
