I Want To Be Stuck On A Remote Island With Zac Efron In His New Show ‘Killing Zac Efron’

Killing Zac Efron: Zac Efron Is Starring In A New Adventure Series

Don’t even talk to me if you weren’t attracted to Zac Efron when his beard looked like a grilled panini. But heads up to all the true fans out there: the actor has a new show coming out — a survival adventure series called Killing Zac Efron.

No, we’re not joking and yes, we will be watching it.

The show will follow Efron as he goes “off-the-grid” deep in the jungle of a remote, dangerous island. He won’t have anything with him except basic gear and a survival guide — and a camera crew, who’ll film his experience as he tries to prove the show’s title wrong over a period of 21 days.

“I tend to thrive under extreme circumstances and seek out opportunities that challenge me on every level,” Efron said in a statement about the show. “I am excited to explore any uncharted territory and discover what unexpected adventure awaits.”

It’s not the first time Efron’s done something like this. He jumped out of a helicopter in an episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls, and earlier in the year he started a YouTube travel series called Off the Grid.

Efron is also the executive producer on Killing Zac Efron, which is coming to Quibi. If you live in Australia, you might not have any idea WTF Quibi is. It’s a new streaming platform coming to phones, with short-form episodes that can run for anywhere between seven and ten minutes.

“We are excited to partner with Quibi on this new mobile experience to bring the audience on a wild, one-of-a-kind immersive journey into Zac’s world as he travels through remote locations in search of adventure,” said Lydia Tenaglia, another executive producer on the show.

Quibi is set to launch in April 2020, but we don’t have a release date for Killing Zac Efron yet. Also no word yet on whether Quibi will be releasing in Australia, but you bet that we’ll be watching this show if it does.
