Harry Potter has the world under its spell right now (more than usual) and in all the magical mayhem, the Harry Potter world at Universal Studios Orlando has unveiled a new ride in its Wizarding World experience. A Hagrid ride is coming, so pack your flying-motorbike goggles and pink umbrella.

The highly-anticipated rollercoaster has been teased since October last year, but until now we didn’t know that the ride would focus on our low-key fave character.
The rollercoaster will live in Hogsmeade, in Universal’s Islands of Adventures theme park. We always knew Hagrid was around the park somewhere – visitors could see his hut during the Flight of the Hippogriff ride – but he’s taking the spotlight this time to lead guests on a tour that plunges into the path of some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures.
The Hagrid ride will join the other attractions in Hogsmeade, including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – an experience that takes wannabe wizards and witches into Hogwarts and high above the castle grounds.
A quick ride on the Hogwarts Express will take visitors to Diagon Alley where they can visit Ollivanders wand shop, Gringotts bank and dine at the Leaky Cauldron.
