You Can Spend The Night Surrounded By Books At This Library

Gladstone's Library

If you’re the kind of person who needs to devour a chapter or two before dozing off at night, we’ve found the perfect stay for you. At the UK’s Gladstone’s Library, you can drift off to sleep surrounded by its 150,000 books.

Located in Flintshire, Wales, the library was founded by Former British Prime Minister William Gladstone in the 1800s. Today, the neo-Gothic building is open to curious, open-minded, scholarly and creative individuals and groups after a space to read, study, write, think, find inspiration and, now, sleep.

The Victorian space has attracted famous researchers, historians, novelists, playwrights and poets over the years, and it’s not hard to see why. The library features original vaulted ceilings, arched windows and comfy armchairs – the ultimate place to curl up with a good book.
