All Hotel Rooms Should Have Swings In Them

Hey, look, another reason to want to go to Amsterdam.

Located near the centre of the city is the Lloyd Hotel, referred to as not just a guesthouse but a “cultural embassy”. The design hotel offers a range of ‘5 Star Deluxe Double Rooms’, one of which features a swing that dangles from wooden beams right beside the bed. It’s like they asked your childhood self what you most wanted from a hotel room, and then did exactly that.

The other deluxe rooms feature hammocks and baby grand pianos, a bathtub with a view of the moon, and a bed that comfortably sleeps seven (perfect for touring bandmates who aren’t sick of each other yet).

There were seven in the bed and the little one said…

Every room in the Lloyd Hotel is unique, and when you make a reservation, you choose your star category – we say go deluxe –  but the exact room you will be allocated on arrival is a surprise.

Nice spot to hang out.

If you’re saving cash, the hotel also has four star, three star, two star and one star options to suit all budgets.

Any of the deluxe suites will set you back roughly $275AUD per night, but if you ask us, being able to literally swing into bed is priceless.

Check out Lloyd Hotel’s website for booking info or your daily dose of FOMO.
