Looking for some inpo? Based on booking data for the first half of 2018, Airbnb has released the most popular travel destinations to explore in the new year.

An interesting trend shows travellers are opting for a more traditional vibe when choosing their home away from home. Bookings for nature lodges and ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) have surged in popularity, showing that travellers are increasingly drawn to homes that are rustic and unique.
