Only The Best Burgers Will Be At Melbourne’s Burger Invitational
Everyone has a favourite burger. Some can be up for debate, while others might see to it that they only ingest the very best. Either way, we here in Oz know a good burger, and we aren’t afraid to say it.
Burger fans in Melbourne – while still reeling from the fact that they missed out on that In N Out pop up to Sydney last month – might soon have something to cheer about. Excellent outdoor food truck park Welcome To Thornbury are hosting The Melbourne Burger Invitational and you (and your fave burger) are invited.
In honour of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Welcome To Thornbury will play host to six of Melbourne’s best burger joints for a very special burger-filled weekend. It’ll be the epitome of “Melbourne” with the likes of 8bit, 1090 Burger, Beatbox Kitchen, Dude Food Man, Easey’s and Mr Burger descending on the permanent food truck stop for a cook-up like no other.
Foodies will be able to sample indulge in burgers from Melbourne’s very best, all with a handy pint of Melbourne Bitter in hand. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Taking place on March 8 and 9 from 5pm, this burger-extravaganza will be a feast like no other. Entry is $33, and includes a burger and pint of Melbourne Bitter. Grab tickets here, and hurry – burger fans tend to mean business.
