After conquering the world of stationery and fashion, beloved icon Hello Kitty has set her sights on a restaurant – a Hello Kitty dumpling restaurant to be exact.

All of the food at Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine in Hong Kong is modelled after the famous cat, from dumplings to rice dishes and even a meat dished shaped like her famous pink bow. There’s Hello Kitty wallpaper, Hello Kitty chopsticks, Hello Kitty dinnerware and a special brand of Hello Kitty wine to accompany your meal.
The best part? It’s all actually good for you. Restaurant owner Man Kwong previously worked for a Chinese health magazine, so sticking to all-natural ingredients was a must for him. You’ll be able to throw back a few fresh shrimp dumplings with ease knowing that the chef has used natural ingredients like beetroot to colour Kitty’s bow, and squid ink to create her eyes and whiskers. And though Hello Kitty hails from Japan, the people of Hong Kong have welcomed the anthropomorphic white cat with open arms, so much so they even opened a Hello Kitty organic farm last year.
If you’re keen on getting super kawaii and eating your share of Hello Kitty dumplings, this place is a must. The Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine restaurant is located in the Waterloo district of Hong Kong, and you can check out their adorable menu here.
