Sydney, Here’s Your Chance To Win The World’s Most Exxy Bowl Of Ramen
If you’re a person living in Sydney who loves ramen, and I mean REALLY loves ramen, then you’ve probably heard of the famous ramen food court Gumshara in Haymarket.
Well now they’ve really gone and done it, creating the ramen to end all ramens, and to completely blow your food budget for the month.
In celebration of a new video game Yakuza: Like A Dragon (because of COURSE it is), the new “Rags to Riches” ramen was created from 15 kilos of lobster and pork and garnished with tempura lobster tail, golden nori and a golden dragon head. Why? To resemble the story of one of the video games’ characters, apparently.
“Being given a chance to imagine such an over-the-top ramen dish has been fantastic, and I’m proud of what we’ve created,” said Mori Higashida, owner and head chef at Gumshara.
So how do you get your hands on the treasured ramen?
Sadly, it’s not as easy as spending your week’s rent money. From today until November 10, you’ve got to check in on Xbox ANZ’s Twitter page and follow the competition entry instructions.
Would it be too OTT if we got Gumshara to make the World’s Most Expensive bowl of Ramen to celebrate the November 10th Launch of @rggstudio’s Yakuza: Like A Dragon? And then gave it away for free?

Only one winner from New South Wales will nab the exxy ramen bowl, along with a copy of the game and a special banner. Another 10 runners up from all over Australia will win a copy of the game and one of those special banners.
