Sydney’s Open-Air Cinema Reveals A Stacked 2018 Program

There are plenty of great ways to spend a summer’s afternoon, but we reckon kicking back and watching a film with the extraordinary Sydney Harbour as your backdrop is pretty hard to beat.

From Sunday, January 7, to Saturday, February 17, the St George OpenAir Cinema will head back to Mrs Macquarie’s Point for its 22nd season, with a blockbuster line-up of flicks to boot. It’ll all kick off with the Australian Premiere of Oscars frontrunner The Post, starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.

Sure hits like Bladerunner 2049, Battle of the Sexes, Murder on the Orient Express, Lady Bird, and Call Me By Your Name are also on the bill, meaning your only problem will be deciding which one to see.

Oh, and forget popcorn and choc-tops: For the 2018 season, the cinema is teaming up with Matt Moran’s Sydney restaurant Chiswick to bring a mouth-watering menu to the outdoor cinema. The restaurant’s team will be on sight every night to deliver the specially designed menu.
