Your Guide To The Best Parties And Events During The 2022 Singapore Grand Prix

After a two-year COVID-induced hiatus, the Singapore Grand Prix is back and better than ever in the beloved Lion City.

While the racing itself is an adrenaline-fuelled experience that has to be seen to be believed, there is more to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix than just the racing, with parties, events and festivals galore — proving that it truly is the best time to visit.

We’ve rounded up the absolute must-see and do events to check off your list if you’re lucky enough to be attending this year’s GPSS.

F1 Saturday Night Entertainment

The entire event has a jam-packed entertainment lineup that rivals the talent actually hitting the track, but Saturday night’s F1 concert is truly one not to be missed.

Australia’s own The Kid Laroi, The Black Eyed Peas, TLC and Green Day will all take to the stage alongside more than 40 other musical acts.

It truly is like a music festival within the Grand Prix, and you’d be silly to miss it if you’re already in the Lion City.

Amber Lounge

If you’ve got the budget and you want to experience the Grand Prix the truly elite way, you must go to the Amber Lounge for what has been dubbed the world’s most exclusive after-party.

Tickets will set you back a minimum of $800SGD (approximately $858.90AUD), but that’s a small price to pay for the ultra-luxurious a-list experience.

Held at the Fullerton Heritage precinct, the experience includes champagne, cocktails, international artists like Fatman Scoop — and stunning views of Marina Bay.

Amber Lounge is open on Saturday and Sunday nights for solo or group tickets.

Precinct Parties

This year’s Grand Prix will feature precinct parties at four locations — including a brand new event at Sentosa for the first time ever.

After their debut in 2019, the precinct parties have become an iconic part of the Grand Prix experience, offering something for everyone at four unique locations: Sentosa, Orchard Road, Clarke Quay and Kampong Gelam.

Orchard Road is the perfect vibe if you’re into arcade games and shopping your way through car-themed flea markets, Clark Quay is where the nightlife will be popping off, you can experience carnival vibes at Kampong Gelam, or enjoy family-friendly fun in Sentosa.

Ce La Vi’s Cyber Rally

Experience world-class DJs and impressive LED light installations at the neon-punk themed “cyber rally” party, hosted by Grey Goose and Ce La Vi.

Andaz Singapore

Andaz Singapore’s rooftop race party on September 30 and October 1 is one not to miss, with themed cocktails and shots, as well as delicious snacks including wagu short rib baos and aburi tuna tartare, this is an elite experience.

DJs will keep the music flowing from 6pm til 1am, while you eat, drink and enjoy the spectacular rooftop views.

The event is organised in collaboration with Red Bull, Grey Goose, Auchentoshan and Peroni — so you’re in good hands.
