This Entire Island In The Bahamas Will Cost You Less Than A Week’s Rent

The Bahamas is the kind of destination we mostly only dream about, what with those clear waters, magnificent resorts, thatched huts and adorable pigs splashing around. And, sadly, the archipelago has the unbelievable price tag to match — for the most part.

But what if we told you that you can rent an entire island in the Bahamas? And not for a huge amount of money?

The Bahamian Island of Ship Channel Cay Island is for rent on home-sharing website Home To Go for around $560 ($450USD) per night. Meaning, if you split it with three friends, it’s about $142 each. A verified bargain.

The house on the Ship island doesn’t have the fanciest fit-out, but, hey, it’s your own private island in the Bahamas! It consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom and is only accessible by boat (because, you know, it’s an island).
