One Of The World’s Best Bars is Coming To Sydney This Weekend
One of the world’s best bars (#21 to be specific), Operation Dagger, is coming to Sydney this weekend.
The renowned “secret” Singapore cocktail bar will take over PS40 on King St in the CBD. Who’s at the helm? Well that just so happens to be Australian-born Luke Whearty who’s one of the founders and chief barmen at the world-renowned cocktail institution!
Operation Dagger is known for its sleek, artistic interior and exceptionally innovative drinks, made from ingredients like salted egg yolk liqueur, lemon charcoal dark chocolate, house-made mint Amaro and mint ice.
Though it only opened last year, PS40 has quickly made a name for itself as a hub for inventive, unique and unexpected alcoholic concoctions. The team only uses natural preservative-free, house-made sodas and Sydney-centric liquors and beer, including Archie Rose and Young Henrys. It’s a fitting temporary home for Operation Dagger, that’ll be crafting sensational drinks out of unusual ingredients like “naturally fermented cabbage wine, bee pollen and vanilla straws”.
Get in early, the Operation Dagger pop-up is only open from 4-10pm on April 23. More information can be found on the official Facebook event.
