Aaaand It’s Official: NSW Will Open Its Borders To VIC This Month

You Bloody ripper! New South Wales Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, just announced that they’ll be re-opening their borders to Victoria starting from November 23.

“I want to thank the community, particularly in our border towns, for their patience during what has been an extremely difficult time,” the Premier said.

“We have worked closely with the Victorian Government throughout the border closure and will continue to monitor the situation as restrictions are eased”.

“Our policy in NSW is to keep moving forward and operating in a COVID-Safe manner –  the reopening of the NSW / Victorian border is another step in the right direction”.

The decision comes as VIC recorded it’s fifth day in a row of no new community COVID-19 cases and zero deaths, so well done mates!

I don’t know about you, but I’m particularly excited to see my Melbourne friends (and hell, even just Melbourne as a city) again. But obviously it’s especially good news for families who’ve been separated by the lockdown.
