The Best Hotel In The World Is Just A Short Flight From Australia

For the second year in a row, a luxury hotel in Indonesia has taken out the title of the world’s best. And, looking at the pictures, we’re not the least bit surprised.
Nihi Sumba Island can’t be real. Located on the island of Sumba, the resort is made up of 33 private villas scattered over 560 acres of picturesque fields and cliffside greenery. Completely secluded from civilisation, the whole experience makes guests feel like they have their very own private island.
Niha Sumba’s spot at number one was decided as part of Travel + Leisure magazine’s user-voted annual survey, beating out nine other luxury hotels for the top spot. But, to be fair, the other nine are just as impressive and surprisingly diverse. They include glamping spots on game reserves, huge luxury ranches and working farms. Interestingly, quite a few are located in the United States.
