Hotel staff hold in their hands the power to make or break a trip away. And the newest employee at Melbourne’s Park Hyatt is about to make a lot of holiday dreams come true.
Mr Walker is a golden labrador retriever, Guide Dogs of Australia ambassador and all-’round Very Good Doggo. According to the hotel, his affectionate, social nature makes him the perfect fit for its client services team.

He’s been accepting pats and belly rubs greeting guests at the hotel since early September. He’s also available for walks around the nearby Fitzroy Gardens and practicing his downward dog on the deck.
And, because he’s a dedicated doggo, Mr Walker has a bed in the hotel’s foyer for long days spent serving the people of Melbourne.
If you’re fortunate enough to cross paths with Mr Walker on your next trip to Melbourne, make sure you snap a picture and tag #BarkHyattMelbourne (or just scroll through the feed if you’re feeling down).
