The Blue Mountains Have Been Restored To Their Rightful Place Following A Google Maps Glitch

Tourists flock from all over to enjoy the picturesque views of the Blue Mountains region in New South Wales, so it’s no wonder visitors were shocked when a Google Maps glitch placed the Blue Mountains in a cul-de-sac in Dargan, New South Wales – approximately 30km north of the area.

Tourists began showing up in large numbers, with weekends and holiday periods proving to be very busy for the rural area. Locals took the matter into their own hands, putting up signs reading, “Blue Mountains is not here (Google Maps is wrong). You need to go to Katoomba or Blackheath”.
