London’s New ‘Sky Pool’ Puts Every Infinity Pool To Shame

“Swimming” and “London” aren’t exactly synonymous – but that hasn’t stopped a UK architecture firm from redefining the urban swimming pool in the heart of the city.
Putting your average infinity pool to shame, the ten-storey “sky pool” will be suspended between two apartment buildings on the south bank of the Thames. Designed by London architects HAL, the half Olympic size (25-metre) pool is already in the second stage of development and is expected to be completed in 2017.
If I don’t get to swim in this glass-bottomed pool once in my life, I’m going to be so mad. http://t.co/P1vFQdXBpM pic.twitter.com/u9SvpsSoOS

And if swimming over to your neighbour to borrow some sugar isn’t cool enough, the pool will have a fully transparent structure so it’ll feel like you’re literally floating in the sky over London.
