Another Hemsworth Brother Just Landed In Darling Harbour
If you weren’t already swooning over Chris Hemsworth taking up permanent residency in Sydney last month, prepare yourself: The youngest (and best, in our opinion) Hemsworth brother has come home, too.
This is not a drill. The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth has been immortalised in wax and is available for selfies with at Madame Tussauds Sydney.
The eerily realistic 193cm wax figure took more than 800 hours to hand craft by a team of over 100 skilled and dedicated sculptors, artists and stylists from Madame Tussauds’ central studios in London. Each individual hair was inserted strand by strand, taking almost six weeks alone – and that’s not even including his perfectly trimmed beard. Though, we reckon it was Hemsworth the wait.
“We’re thrilled to launch Liam Hemsworth and reunite him with his older brother Chris,” Mark Connolly, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Sydney, said in a media release. “We’re proud of our collection of Aussie legends.”
While you’re there, be sure to say hi to some other Australian and international celebs, like Miranda Kerr, Taylor Swift, and Kylie Minogue.
And if nothing else, you’ll be one degree of separation from Miley Cyrus.
