The Ultimate Travelling Camp has introduced award-winning luxury camping all over India, with a bunch of unique glamping destinations to choose from. On May 15, camp will set up shop in Thiksey and Diskit in Ladakh, a region famed for its next-level scenery and Buddhist temples.
The camps have been designed for a totally immersive experience, showcasing the local Ladakhi culture while allowing guests to explore a more natural environment, without sacrificing all of home’s creature comforts.
The large and luxe tents are something else. Each is finished with wooden chandeliers, four-poster beds and triple-layered protection to shield you from the elements.
They’re completely kitted out, with ensuite bathrooms, private decks, Wi-Fi, a library and (in the reception tent) a personal butler. Oh, and in-house chefs who only use the freshest of ingredients to whip you up some authentic Indian cuisine at your request. What even is life?
