H&M Finally Dropped An Online Store With 20 Percent Off, So RIP Your Bank Account

For some insane reason, H&M famously has not had online shopping available in Australia, despite opening stores way back in 2014.
Until now.
Without much of a to-do, H&M just opened an online store to Aussie punters, with a 20 percent off launch sale, no less. Well, at least it’s “20 percent off one purchase in store or online when you become a member”.
What, a member? Yep, that’s a new thing too. Apparently it’s free to do, and besides the 20 percent off deal, you’ll get free shipping over $60 and free returns.
Let’s get the biggest downside out of the way quickly, like a bandaid: there is no online homewares section. This is a huge blow to me, personally, who is more or less exclusively shops H&M purely for their homewares.
However, my main complaint about the clothing section is the pure chaos in-store so perhaps I’ll dabble more often now I can peruse their collections at a leisurely, at-home pace.
Already from browsing the website I’ve discovered they have matching kids and adults clothing, so now I’ll just need to have a kid to dress them like me until they’re old enough to complain about it. So that’s fun (for me, not my future child).
A more useful part of the new website is probably the Spring collection, with everything from flowey, floral dresses to your new favourite slip-on shoes. Or the fact you can now check out exclusive collections like the ones inspired by To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and collaborations with iconic witchy label The Vampire’s Wife, and Billie Eilish.
R.I.P. my bank account. Start shopping here.
