What: The festival that’s putting the picturesque city of Salacgriva on the map, Positivus Festival is a three-day music festival featuring international chart toppers in an idyllic holiday location.
Where: Salacgriva in Latvia. Festival goers can spend their days watching music, dipping their toes in the Baltic Sea and taking in the atmosphere amid the wild wood surrounds. It’s stunning.
When: Positivus will be celebrating their 10th anniversary on July 15 to 17, 2016.
Fun fact: With a perfect blend of chart-topping headliners and underground emerging talent, you’ll certainly find something worth seeing here. Last year’s festival featured Aussie DIY rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, so you know they’ve got their finger on the pulse of emerging talent.
Why should you go? This year’s incarnation will feature Ellie Goulding, Wolf Alice, San Fermin and heaps more in an unspoiled coastal setting. If you’ve ever thought about ditching the regular European festival crowd for something a little more off kilter, Positivus is definitely the place. Did we mention they’re hammocks strung up across the festival? Yep, this place is definitely where you need to be come European summer.
