Dogapalooza, Melbourne’s Dog-Friendly Music Festival, Will Return In November
Puppers, doggos, floofs and hoomans – rejoice! Dogapalooza, Melbourne’s first dog-friendly music festival, will be back in November, and it’s doin’ us a heckin excite.
On Saturday, November 12, get to Richmond’s Burnley Park for everything you and your pooch could ever want in an afternoon: a line-up of legendary local Melbourne artists, seriously good food, pup-washing stations and a pop-up Moon Dog Brewery bar.
There’s no dress code, but Pethaus will be on-site to fit fashion-forward canines with the sweetest threads around, like doggy denim jackets and designer bandannas.
Four-legged attendees can also be nominated for the inaugural Dogapalooza Awards, with titles like Quiet Achiever and Best Inner-City Hipster up for grabs on the day.
An array of ethical and sustainable tucker will be on offer from the in-house pie stall and other food vendors across the grounds.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to Melbourne dog rescue groups Puppy Tail’s Rescue, Melbourne Animal Rescue, Greyhound Rescue Victoria and Stafford Rescue Victoria.
The festival runs from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, November 12. Tickets cost $39.80 each. Doggos enter free.
Boop you there.
