Contiki Announces Its First-Ever Vegan Tour In Europe

After the revelation that Macca’s McVeggie burger isn’t even technically vegetarian, Contiki has swooped in to save the day with the announcement of its first plant-based tour in Europe.

Believers that “animals are friends, not food” will enjoy private buffets, a vegan cooking class and a dreamy dinner cruise. Every meal will show off authentic, local vegan cuisine, including gelato and doughnuts.

Guests will also walk along the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall, take a bike tour of Prague and attend a classical music concert in Vienna. There’ll also be wellness excursions like yoga classes and a trip to Budapest‘s famous Széchenyi thermal baths.

The vegan odyssey will be led by @thelittlelondonvegan and @laurafruitfairy, experts on all things European and plant-based.

Vegan breakfasts and accommodation in some of the coolest hotels in Europe is included. You’ll be spending a few nights in the super-stylish Moxy — if the one in Budapest is anything like Moxy Times Square, you’re in for a trendy stay.

Contiki’s vegan-friendly tour will kick-off in Berlin on August 12. Guests will visit Dresden, Prague, Brno, Vienna and Bratislava before ending in a feast aboard a river cruise in Budapest.

Prices start at $2264 if you book during the big global sale Contiki are currently running. You’ve got until February 27 to lock it in at that price. Otherwise, you’ll have to shell out $2829 to secure your spot.
