It’s Official, Australia’s 10 Best Pizza Places Have Been Revealed

Well, you need wonder no longer. TripAdvisor has just released a list of the 10 pizzerias serving up the best pizza in Australia. The ranking is based on a (very scientific) consideration of the quality and quantity of reviews and comments on the site, with a heavier ranking given to the most recent reviews.

Here are the top 10 places for the best pizza in Australia and their signature slices.
#1 Beagles Pizza, Airlie Beach
What diners say: “What I would call ‘old school pizza’, made with love and heaps of toppings” with “a beautiful base and fresh ingredients.”
Signature slice: The “Beagles Supreme”, technically the is topped with mozzarella cheese, ham, salami, prawns, olives, mushrooms, onions, capsicum, pineapple, and anchovies as an optional extra.
#2 Il Buco, Byron Bay
What diners say: “Must try – a hole in the wall with sensational pizzas” that are “so outrageously good you’ll feel like you’re in Naples!”
Signature slice: The “Prosciutto Funghi” pizza featuring homemade tomato paste, fior di latte mozzarella, Bangalow sweet pork ham and mushrooms.
#3 Station Bar and Wood-Fired Pizza, Katoomba
What diners say: “Beautiful wood-fired crust” that were “freshly made… the toppings were generous without overloading the pizzas”, “definitely a go-to place for pizza in the mountains.”
