Are You Brave Enough To Watch ‘Jaws’ While Floating On Water?

Surely the best (read: scariest) way to view Steven Speilberg’s blockbuster epic Jaws is while actually floating around in a body of water, right? Well this thrilling viewing experience is finally coming to Sydney this summer.

As apart of Art & About‘s new year-round celebration of art and culture, Sydneysiders can head down to the Andrew (Boy) Charlton pool for two dates in January to scare themselves silly with an extra special screening of Jaws, enjoyed an inflatable chair on the water.

The Deep End: Jaws will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the biggest summer blockbuster of its time that saw a man-eating Great White Shark make its way through a town (and a few boats) in New England.

Though people may argue as to whether this is the best or worst way to watch Jaws, all things considered, it’s a pretty awesome summer’s night out. Grab a floating seat (or a bigger boat) and prepare for a one-of-a-kind freak out with all of your bravest mates. And just sayin’ – we reckon there’ll be at least one prankster swimming around grabbing legs, so try not to scream too loud.

The ultimate immersive cinema experience will be taking place for two nights only, on January 29 and 30, 2016, from 6:30pm- 11pm both nights. Entry is $20 for adults and $15 for concessions.
