Level Up Your Next Paint And Sip Party By Taking The Whole Thing Under The Sea

Despite being absolutely trash with a paintbrush, I still love a little bit of paint and sip action. Probably more for the sipping and the social aspect.
My point is, I would absolutely be on board with Cork And Canvas‘ latest paint and sip party setting, amongst the fishes of SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.
This new ‘Champainting‘ experience gives guests exclusive after-hours aquarium access for their private events of at least 20 people.
You’ll get champers and bottomless wine, beer and house spirits when you arrive, plus gourmet grazing platters to throughout the night to keep you from getting legless. You’ll get to wander around without all the annoying crowds, then stop and paint the underwater scenes you’ve just been exploring.
“We’re pleased to offer this one-of-a-kind experience as the ultimate private event for animal lovers and creatives — ideal for corporate team building, a birthday party or a hens night,” said Cork and Canvas Founder Melinda Janiszewski in a statement.
In short, a private package will set you back at least $195 per person, with more premium packages available, and will get you:
- Full access to the aquarium from 6pm.
- A two-hour paint and sip session from 7pm – 9.00pm, where you’ll be painting turtles or jellyfish.
- A three-hour bottomless drinks package.
- Gourmet grazing platters of assorted meats, cheese, antipasti and breads
If you can’t string together 20 mates, there’s also a one off public class — so everything will be the same, you just won’t know everyone — on Friday the 16th of October (at 6pm) are $130. Spaces will obviously be limited so you’ll want to go nab your spot here.
If you’d rather the private aquarium with dinner instead of painting, there’s always the private dining experience at either SEA LIFE Aquariaum, WILD LIFE Zoo or Madame Tussauds Sydney.
