You might think that KFC has peaked in Australia with the world’s first drive-through-only restaurant, but the Colonel’s just outdone himself. The fried chicken chain has opened an all-you-can-eat KFC buffet in — where else? — Tokyo.
The buffet has more than 50 items on the menu for you to inhale. Want the original recipe chicken or OG potato and gravy? You can eat as much of it as you want, bb! But because Japan does KFC like nowhere else, the new all-you-can-eat restaurant also has some unusual dishes available.

There’s also whole rotisserie chickens, pan-baked potato casserole and garlic bread.
Or if you’ve got a sweet tooth, you can even get dessert at this KFC! The buffet dishes up everything from croissants to shaved ice, coffee jelly and cakes.

According to Japan Today, the buffet starts at just ¥1980 (AU$26.77) for an 80 minute lunchtime dining session, or ¥2580 (AU$34.89) for dinner. That’s more than an hour to eat as much KFC as you possibly can (which we’re betting is a lot).

The all-you-can-eat KFC buffet is inside the Minami-machida Grandberry Park shopping centre, in Tokyo’s Machida district. No wonder Tokyo was voted the best city in the entire world this year!
