You Can Spend A Romantic Evening At Hogwarts This Valentine’s Day

Okay so when we announced that adults-only Christmas feast at Hogwarts’ Great Hall a couple of months ago, we thought we’d reached peak Potter. I mean, for a franchise that never quits (that prequel looks way too good) they sure do know how to keep us Harry Potter superfans excited. So what will Harry Potter be taking over next? Valentine’s Day, of course.

It’s just been announced that the Warner Bros. Studio Tour will be hosting a bewitching banquet on Valentine’s Day at their London studios for you and your main squeeze. Your magical night will begin with a delicious three course meal in Hogwarts’ iconic Great Hall especially decorated with cosy tables for two.

Just so you know, welcome drinks and canapés are set to include a special ‘Love Potion cocktail’ – be warned though, we hear Romilda Vane makes a dangerously strong one.

Following the meal, guests will be treated to after-hours access of the Studio tour, including the Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore’s office, the Weasley kitchen at the Burrow, the Malfoy Manor dining table and of course, Platform 9 3/4. The night continues with a jug of butterbeer in the backlot cafe where guests will be able to wander down Diagon Alley and choose their very own wand (or should we say, the wand chooses you).

Your delicious night of Harry Potter frivolity will set you back £247.50 (about $500AUD) per person. If your significant other is a particularly big Potterhead, then consider your V-Day sorted. Or you know… you could just get them a Harry Potter themed Valentine’s Day card. Same thing, right?
