Myths, legends and folklore are a huge pull for tourists visiting Great Britain. Each country has a host of unique magical tales, with countless television shows, movies and books based on the enchanting atmosphere of the region’s rolling hills and mossy enclaves.
For that reason, staff for Epic Retreats designed eight boutique glamping retreats on two different sites hidden in the lovely Welsh hills.
The glamping spots are all inspired by a local a story, magical theme or key component of Welsh culture. There’s the Miner’s Legend, the Dragon’s Eye, the Little Dragon, Slate Cabin, Skyhut, Black Hat, Animated Forest and Arthur’s Cave.
Each cabin has been designed by world-renowned architects. They all have ensuites and comfortable bedding, as well as bespoke features that complement the design. The Dragon’s Eye has a rotating bed, Arthur’s Cave has sheepskin insulation, while the Little Dragon has a wood-burning fireplace to keep you all snuggly and cosy at night.
You can find the glamping site in beautiful Snowdonia, Wales, specifically in the Southern Snowdonia and Llŷn Peninsula regions.
It’s a must-do on any trip to Wales, and an incredible way to immerse yourself in the country’s rich culture.
